Latest news for lovers of HTC devices. The cellphone maker, HTC will soon present a new handset option called HTC Edge. According PocketNow report, this phone is possibly claimed as the world’s first quad-core Tegra 3 phone. nVidia Tegra 3 is rumored as a quadcore mobile processor – 4 cores within single chip.
The quadcore will surely bring faster performance but Nvidia has claimed that the Tegra 3 processor can offer the improved battery life over the dual-core processor.
HTC Edge will sport a 1.5GHz Nvidia AP30 Tegra 3 quadcore processor and 1GB RAM to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with HTC Sense 4.0. HTC Edge will offer a 4.7-inch screen with HD resolution, along with 32GB of built-in memory.
In addition, this HTC also features a 8MP rear camera with 28-millimeter f/2.2 lens technology, Beats Audio integration, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, HTC Listen music store, and other HTC services.
The HTC Edge is expected to hit the market in late Q1, or early Q2 of next year.
