The latest news Phone Mark blog come from The Reputable Companies AT & T. The company recently announced deal with Deutsche Telekom to buy T-Mobile USA. AT&T Inc said it had agreed to buy for $39 billion, and the deal would close about a year from now.
AT&T said it plans to rearrange how T-Mobile’s cell towers work. The spectrum for third-generation services (3G), will be upgraded that infrastructure to the coming LTE 4G standard, which is faster.
According to the company, the transaction will ensure “a significant expansion of robust 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) deployment to 95 percent of the US population to reach an additional 46.5 million Americans beyond current plans, including rural communities and villages,” as reported by Arstechnica.com.
The merger will continue to provide benefits for Deutsche Telekom. By giving up on the US, Deutsch Telekom will get a healthy $25 billion in cash, and end up with about an eight percent stake of AT&T.
